Description

Job Summary:

VSolvit is seeking a SharePoint / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Engineer-Senior to support our DISA Client in Crystal City, Virginia. We provide reliable Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM platforms as a service to its customer base to host a variety of mission applications, collaboration, business intelligence, and workflows. Our team operates, maintains, assimilates, and upgrades multiple SharePoint and CRM instances.  We examine and rationalize the existing content and customizations in the SharePoint production farms with the intent of migration to future generation environments.

The compensation range for this position is $130k-$150k /annually.

Role:

  • As a Microsoft SharePoint Engineer-Sr / Dynamic Customer Relations Management (CRM), you will be using cutting edge SharePoint technologies such as to deliver the best solutions to our clients.  An Interim Secret Clearance is required.  This position is Hybrid (some on client site requirements) 
  • Ensure system availability of SharePoint 2013, 2019 and CRM on premise test, staging and production farms by providing operations and maintenance support
  • Incident and problem tickets management for SharePoint 2013, 2019 and Dynamics CRM 2019 environments. Ensure incidents and problems from all users are resolved quickly, completely and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Maintain platform infrastructure in accordance with Microsoft recommended best practices while also considering the customers unique requirements
  • Adhere to established infrastructure standards, policies, best practices and procedures related to the support and operations of our SharePoint and Dynamics CRM environment
  • Provide expertise in moving infrastructure from on premises to the cloud environment
  • Collaborate with members of the SharePoint Analyst Team, Project Managers, and other technical service partners to deliver SharePoint solutions that surpass client expectations.
  • Use knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and SQL server administration to complete a variety of projects
  • Use PowerShell scripting to provide support with administration, implementation, and monitoring
  • Use knowledge of servers, PC's, and networks to ensure the environment works correctly
  • Update technical design and maintenance documentation for SharePoint & CRM farms
  • Perform patching and apply Stigs in order to ensure compliance and health of the environment
  • Coordinate with Service Partners such as Server Operations, Cyber Security, and Database Teams to ensure SharePoint & CRM farms remain operational
  • Investigate and troubleshoot outages as needed to ensure we meet operational SLAs
  • Work with Development teams to deploy custom applications in the environment as needed
  • As with any position, additional expectations exist. Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems
  • 8+ years of experience maintaining SharePoint/CRM systems 
  • Strong experience with SharePoint 2013 and 2019 
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Migration Tools such as AvePoint DocAve, Fly
  • SharePoint Migration Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework
  • Comprehensive experience with SharePoint configuration through the web UI
  • Experience in the implementation of SharePoint collaboration tools (forums/issue lists, document/form libraries, etc.) and the ability to seamlessly integrate with other Microsoft tools
  • SharePoint specific required skills (through the web UI): customizing web parts and web part pages; creating sites, document libraries, lists and views; search and taxonomies; Office/InfoPath integration; and reporting functions
  • Troubleshooting experience, working through various technical issues related to SharePoint or dependencies
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements
  • Security+ certification
  • The desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth
  • Must be within commuting distance of DC metro area to come on client site as required. Those in Chesapeake, VA commuting distance will also be considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree IT or Engineering 
  • Acquired Microsoft certifications, especially MCSE. Ability to support a Dynamics Office 365 environment
  • Experience with Splunk monitoring tool
  • Experience with disaster recovery efforts for IT
  • Cyber Security Technical Engineering Support to SharePoint
  • Active US Security Clearance
