Position Purpose: Evaluate multiple and varied client referrals for occupational health, dictate reports within IMA guidelines, adhering to IMA standards
Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Encourage and perpetuate a culture of TEAMWORK, safety and respect for every employee.
Apply and adhere to Company Policies and SOPs, HIPAA and OSHA requirements and processes that allow for the delivery of quality services to internal and external customers.
Adhere to Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines as outlined in IMA’s Affirmative Action Program.
Observes and upholds a standard of absolute confidentiality regarding the personal information of IMA’s clients, and all corporate data which may be disclosed as a necessary part of the employee’s work function.
Must be licensed with approved state panel application where indicated. All credentials must be maintained in good standing. Advise IMA immediately of any change in professional status.
Explain your role to the claimant:
Treat each claimant with compassion and respect.
Follow IMA policy of no claimant referrals, no claimant treatment and no claimant prescribing.
Maintain professional dress according to IMA standards, as well as professional demeanor at all times.
Report any extreme situations: suicidal/homicidal ideations, abuse.
Review available documentation including claimant history.
Spend the appropriate amount of time with the claimant.
Review ancillary testing reports, i.e., EKG, PFT, Doppler.
ACLS certified and IMA trained on treadmill (GXTs).
Supply medical information from which a determination can be made.
Dictate a narrative report the same day, following IMA and client guidelines.
Review and sign reports within 48 hours.
Perform other related duties as assigned and work hours necessary for completion.
