Essential functions and responsibilities:
Use ERP scheduling tools to plan production in all departments
Work with production to create an efficient production schedule that meets the needs of customers
Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules
Confer with department supervisors and leads to determine the progress of work and completion dates
Compile reports on the progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and material issues
Work with leads, supervisors, and managers to monitor department inventories, investigate and resolve discrepancies
Create shop orders and post to production workbench in ERP with appropriate dates and prioritization
Master ERP system to become a point of contact for ERP issues and problem solving
Act as a liaison between management, production, and warehouse
Cross-train in various operational functions to serve as backup during peak workload
Maintains product safety, legality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems
Report any potential food safety, legality, quality, or food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel
Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
Must follow all company policies and procedures
