An 11-bed residential crisis stabilization / ambulatory detox program offering an alternative to or diversion from an acute inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. The multidisciplinary approach offers rapid access for brief intervention through psychiatry, nursing, therapy, psychoeducation, peer recovery supports, a structured milieu and comprehensive care coordination.
The Manager manages day to day programmatic and clinical operations of the Regional Crisis Stabilization Center (RCSC), a residential crisis stabilization program. The primary purpose of the RCSC program is to provide an approach with rapid assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, psychiatric evaluation and medical monitoring, using a brief stay approach for treatment of diminishing acute symptoms and psychiatry conditions and co-occurring disorders to prevent the need for hospitalization. Incumbent will provide direct individual, group, and psychoeducation services and oversight of clinical staff, including therapists, peer recovery specialists, discharge coordinators and will be active in treatment team and discharge planning activities. Ensures that the crisis stabilization center is responsive, efficient and congruent with the CSBs clinical and fiscal goals and objectives and is in compliance with applicable regulatory/licensure/accreditation standards. Provides clinical direction and consultation for the RCSC and individuals referred throughout the Region-V area. Collaborates with the Clinical Services Administrator to develop, manage and monitor program budgets, completes necessary administrative activities and develops, monitors and assesses productivity and outcomes data.
Work Schedule - Monday - Friday 8a - 4:30p with on-call responsibilities

Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work including five (5) years experience of clinical experience including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention and case management functions. Program supervision or management experience required. Must provide proof of registration for supervision toward licensure with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (LPC or LCSW) within 90 days of employment.
