This position will be tasked with the day-to-day safety and security of facilities, employees, and property associated with Skymint Brands. Responsibilities: Perform roving patrols inside and outside the property. Log visitors and validate credentials Prevent employee and customer theft Ability to learn and proficiently operate and monitor multiple security systems. Ensuring that cameras are clear of obstruction Identify internal and external safety and security risks Provide exemplary customer service to all customers and fellow employees Operate under the regulatory requirements set forth by the MRA Assist in product delivery as needed. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Incident response, including de-escalation and conflict management. Escalates issues to management and/or law enforcement if appropriate Occasional snow/ice removal during inclement weather on the sidewalk/ramp/stair into the building. Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holidays. Other tasks as assigned by Security Manager or Security Supervisor   Position Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Excellent written and verbal communications Must have a reliable personal vehicle or means of transportation Current CPR, First Aid, AED and BBP certified Must be 21 years of age or older Possession of current, valid, Michigan concealed carry weapon permit Possession of a smart phone that can be used in the course of employment Law enforcement, Security, or Military experience Detail oriented Excellent time management skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to multi-task Must be able to pass a criminal background check Ability to perform monitoring and maintain compliance with complex regulations Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information Ability to provide professional customer service and positively represent the company Frequent exposure to cannabis odor Frequent exposure to external weather conditions including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow Ability to work in store and office with fluorescent and other lighting exposure Able to perform duties related to moderate to arduous physical exertion involving standing for prolonged periods, walking, running, and climbing stairs or ladders Additional physical requirements may include lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds     Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Security Guard   Division Skymint   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Location Dimondale HQ   About the Organization   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
