Share Email Opening Title Regional Sales Director  Category Sales and Marketing   Description Job Summary The Regional Sales Director is a critical position for the company and supports and drives product distribution, marketing activities, training, business development, relationship management and wholesaling support within an assigned group of key relationships or geographic region. Essential Functions Key management and leadership responsibilities within assigned relationship group: Build and manage relationships with executives with relationship group Position company for visibility and set sales expectations Drive sales and marketing activities with all levels of relationship group Manage product distribution opportunities and issues Develop business plans to ensure sales growth both long and short term Create and conduct product presentations, seminars and regular meetings Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction Secure and relate feedback regarding distributor, agent and policyholder interactions Collaborate with marketing team to establish successful channel and partner programs Manage key customer relationships and participate in establishing strategic opportunities Relationship development with distributors, agents and Home Office personnel   Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Creativity and ability to be a improvisational problem solverFlexibility in work schedules Strong organizational skills Good interpersonal & communication skills A strong understanding of business practices and industry trends Ability to work effectively in a team setting Ability to multi-task and adapt to change Ability to influence people Exceptional business closing skills Relationship management expertise Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision Ability to develop sales presentations, position statements, messages, and other sales collateral Proven ability to negotiate successfully and close complex agreements Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 7+ years of relevant work experience is preferred. Prior insurance experience is required Licenses & Certifications CLU, CFP,ChFC or FLMI desirable Completion of LOMA insurance courses I and II recommended within first year of employment.
