Share Email Opening Title Blown Film Supervisor   Number of Openings 1   Description Job Description Job Title: Blown Film Supervisor Reports to: Blown Film Manager Department: Manufacturing Classification (exempt or nonexempt): Non-Exempt Grade / Level (If applicable): N/A Supervises (If applicable): Blown Film Operator Qualifications required: 4+ Years of Blown Film Extrusion experience. 3-5 Years supervisory experience. Knowledge of running LDPE/LLDPE Resins with IBC. Coex experience Forklift license Good communication and organizational skills Ability to be a valuable team leader College degree or equivalent job experience   Position Requirements Essential functions and responsibilities: Oversee all shift employees. Assign operators to machines. Oversee production flow of respective shift. Ability to Adjust machines as necessary. Assist with changeovers as necessary. Cover machine breaks and lunches for production line operators. Communicate quality issues to all necessary personnel. Training of all new operators and temporary employees and document all training provided. Complete all necessary production paperwork. Provide safety training to employees. Receive incoming material. Follow all quality and food safety policies and procedures to ensure products meet all applicable customer, regulatory and industry standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities Corrective Action team member Report any potential food safety, quality of food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality of food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel. Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices Must follow all company policies and procedures. Other duties as required.
