Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Equipment Operator/CDL - Gas  Description Position reports to Gas Service Foreman. Drives flat bed and dump truck carrying construction materials and equipment. Operates tractors, small ditchers, air compressors and pick-up truck. Performs incidental tasks including digging, brush cutting, and loading or unloading of materials used in the operational process. May operate in a training capacity or assist in the operation of heavier and more complex equipment. Services equipment and makes minor field repairs and adjustments; reports need for major repairs to equipment.   Position Requirements Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must have knowledge of terms related to gas pipe and fittings. Should have some skill in the use of common hand tools and equipment.   Physical/Environmental Requirements The environmental working conditions of this position include constantly working outside and very frequently working around hazardous machinery, high and low temperatures. Also, frequently working around low noises and vibrations and occasionally working around wet surroundings, loud noises and working inside.
