The social worker provides professional services to patients and families, which facilitate the use of individual, public, and private resources so that optimal functioning can occur for both the patient and the family. These core services include assessment of psychosocial functioning and needs, crisis intervention, supportive counseling related to a new diagnosis, chronic illness, and/or end-of-life, along with linkage to community resources.   Position Requirements MSW, LSW preferred. Experience in a hospital, health organization, or mental health care agency is preferred. ideally with pediatric hospital experience but open to related experience.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
