Position Summary:

ORBA is searching for a resilient, self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you further build and refine ORBA's recruiting structure, develop engaging recruiting strategies, identify the best job applicants, and conduct interviews with potential hires. You will also collaborate with managers and department heads to develop improved talent acquisition strategies for successful full-cycle recruiting to meet ORBA's staffing needs.

A successful Talent Acquisition Manager will be flexible and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and active listening skills. Ideal candidates should be able to foster lasting, professional relationships and have working knowledge of talent acquisition software.

Depending on the candidate, this role can offer either a hybrid model with flexible hours or a fully remote model.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle selection process including conducting initial screens, scheduling interviews with the departments, soliciting feedback from both the Department Leaders as well as the candidate and preparing offers
  • Manage ongoing candidate relationship during the hiring life cycle
  • Work closely with Department Leaders to identify recruiting needs and sourcing strategies to fill vacancies.
  • Prepare and post attractive job descriptions to online job boards or circulate them via other channels, such as email, direct sourcing campaigns or social media
  • Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop new, more efficient methods of finding great candidates
  • Visit campuses to meet and recruit ambitious and skilled individuals to join our team.
  • Develop relationships with key representatives within universities including career services, professors, deans, and accounting societies.
  • Use resume parsers, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and candidate relationship management (CRM) software to streamline recruitment processes
  • Provide updates directly to Managers and Directors accordingly
  • Create and maintain talent pools and accurate candidate data
  • Complete reference and background checks
  • Network with industry professionals and keep abreast of developments in talent acquisition
  • Other projects and duties, as assigned
 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, human resources management, or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting in the corporate sector may be preferred
  • Experience recruiting in professional services preferred
  • Competency in full-cycle recruiting may be required
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Knowledge of Employment Law (Federal & State)
  • Working knowledge of talent management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to protect confidential information
  • Ability to effectively present information and interact with different personalities
  • Be a self-starter and work well without constant supervision
  • Willingness to adapt to changes
