Share Email Opening Title Logistics Assistant   Astronics Subsidiary Astronics AeroSat   Location Manchester, NH   Description About Astronics AeroSat  Astronics AeroSat Corporation is located Manchester, New Hampshire.  We design and manufacture tail-mounted aircraft SATCOM systems to provide inflight internet and live TV connectivity for commercial and business aviation, VVIP, and military aircraft around the world.  Astronics AeroSat keeps you connected, no matter where you fly.    Primary Function: The Logistics Assistant is responsible for inventory parts and assemblies receipt, itemizing, storing and kitting in support of manufacturing operations, including: production parts and consumables, to enable on time support of the manufacturing and repair station cells. Packaging and shipping of parts is a secondary function. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive materials from shipper Check received materials are in correct number and shipping container is undamaged, note if otherwise Enter receipt into Intuitive ERP system Prepare materials for Quality Assurance inspection. Receive accepted materials from Quality Assurance inspection. Mark and package materials for storage into Logistics cage Record stock location in intuitive ERP and store. Monitor and regulate shelf life materials Packages and ships completed LRU both domestically and non-domestically Packages and ships parts or sub-assemblies to sub-contractor suppliers as needed. Performs cycle counts to assure accuracy of inventory count. Additional duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None required. Will report to Production Manager   Position Requirements Required High School diploma Preferred 1-5 years logistics experience Strong organizational skills. Preferred Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense industries is a plus. Experience with Logistic operations is a plus Intuitive ERP experience a plus.
