Share Email Opening Title Wastewater Service Technician Valley SI Precast  Category Delivery Driver   Description Position Description The Waste Water Service Technician position will service Septic Tanks and Pump Systems in the surrounding area. Responsibilities General knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing, including pumps, aerators, control panels and more. Read an electrical meter to measure ohms and amperage Ability to troubleshoot minor single-phase electrical issues General understanding of wastewater treatment systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems in septic tanks and advanced treatment systems Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions Operate vehicles in a safe manner and use field automation systems Contact and interact with homeowners, engineers, and contractors Explain individual onsite systems with training Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings Must have clean work attire and a respectful personal appearance Keep work truck and service area clean and stocked Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Be willing to take classes for industry knowledge Adhere to OSHA safety regulations Tracking and Maintenance of service contracts Produce timely and detailed service reports Submit and maintain county service contract filings and updates Ability to use power tools   Position Requirements Requirements Must have a valid Driver’s license – Class A CDL preferred but not required Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. safely Drive up to a 150-mile radius in a company vehicle including overnight stays on occasion Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Must be able to read and follow directions Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with the ability to multi-task Must be a team player Customer service oriented NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
