Job Summary:
Oversee overall operation of assigned program, including hiring, assessing, training, and termination of staff. Assure departmental goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by performing the job responsibilities personally or through subordinate staff.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee the function, direction, and evaluation of the program, including long and short-term goals
- Manage staff in the formulation of psychosocial treatment plans with relevant goals, behaviorally- measurable goals that serve as indexes for evaluating treatment progress, and realistic time frames for achievement
- Supervise staff to ensure they function within an interdisciplinary team in the assessment/evaluation of clients, and they articulate verbally and in written documentation the integration of client history and assessment information.
- Supervise staff to ensure they document services (e.g. assessments, treatment plans, progress, reports, and discharge summaries) in the clinical record, with all entries authenticated and time/dated
- Perform the following tasks as a member of an interdisciplinary team (internal and external) - conduct outreaches, assess clients, and communicate (verbally and in written documentation) the integration of client history and assessment information; provide and receive clinical feedback.
What We Need to See:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work or other behavioral health disciplines from an accredited college or university.
- NJ LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required by program regulations & standards
- At least two (2) years of experience providing clinical services to youth and families.
- Some administrative experience in human service or related program(s), including experience in quality assurance/improvement and program development.
- Bilingual (Arabic, Creole, Korean, Polish, Spanish) a plus
- A valid driver's license and must be insurable by the agency's automobile insurance.
