Eligible applicants are expected to adhere to those values, and work alongside a team whose mission is to Create Enthusiastic Customers.   Description The Inventory Control Specialist will increase company success by maintaining accurate inventory levels and by identifying and optimizing common inventory items among locations. A primary responsibility is the timely, daily performance of accurate cycle counts of inventory locations within a warehouse environment. Candidate will: Ensure inventory is properly counted, labeled, and located Research and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies Train employees on inventory process, its management and cycle counting Seek and develop inventory methods to improve accuracy of inventory levels Be an excellent communicator to keep supervisor informed on progress Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday with a 5:00 am start time. Typical work week is 45 hour work week with Saturdays as needed. Standing and/or walking for the majority of work shift is required as well ast the ability to safely lift, move and carry product.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Two years warehouse experience using RF handheld devices Experience with the safe operation of pallet jacks and forklifts Math skills and organization, spatial abilities Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally Must be detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work independently Knowledge of plumbing, heating and HVAC products/items helpful   This position is currently not accepting applications.
