Location: South San Francisco, CA

We are currently seeking master or PhD-level candidates working towards a degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023. 

Objectives/Goals of the Position:

To develop and implement a LCMS metabolic flux analysis workflow to identify safety liabilities.

Primary Duties:

  • Culture of HepG2 cells as a model system.
  • Metabolite extraction from cell material.
  • LCMS data acquisition and analysis.
  • Generation and interpretation of metabolite networks.
  • Present results in team meetings.
Position Requirements
  • Master or PhD-level candidates working towards a degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related field.
  • Proficiency in LCMS data acquisition and/or cell culture.
  • General understanding of cell metabolism.
  • Strong communication skills and an attention to detail.
Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal
