Description

Job Description: Responsible for the overall operation and coordination of the CC Fixit Program. Management and Engagement of Fixit Program Resources; External and Internal Data Entry/Reporting; Client Interfacing and Case Management; Community Outreach; Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Engagement; Perform Client Field Work Chores/Repairs when needed; Communication and Collaboration Point Person with County Sponsors and other Senior Services Programs; Additional duties related to the Program as assigned by Program Director.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of client requests/work performed; fielding client calls, vetting client requests, referrals to other programs, assignment of jobs to resources (Volunteers primarily); Internal and External data entry of completed job assignments; filing of paperwork for audit purposes.
  • Handle all post repair case management tasks reported by volunteers. This includes referral to other Social Service agencies, Senior Services sponsored programs and/or internal CC support programs.
  • Maintain communication and engagement with Volunteer resources.
  • Actively and passively recruit new Volunteers to the program.
  • Monthly External Billing Close out against Grants.
  • Provide Status Reports to Program Director on Program Operations, Issues and Concerns.
  • Be available to Program Director in attending Quarterly Senior Services Program Director Meeting.
  • Attend Senior Community Events to promote the Program and Recruit Volunteers
  • Perform client jobs when needed to maintain program Service Delivery levels.
  • Maintain and develop collaborative relationships and communication with other County Home Repair Programs.
  • Implement Quality Improvement activities (PDSA) for Fix-It program.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Program Director.
  • Other program related duties as assigned by the Program Director and/or Service Area Director when necessary.
 
Position Requirements

Requirements: Minimum of High School Diploma - Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Must have at least three (3) years of previous experience working with vulnerable populations, community engagement, and volunteerism – preferred to have experience with public speaking, volunteer recruitment and/or managing a team of 6+ people.  

Must have reliable transportation and be willing to perform field-work in private residences.  Must have familiarity with minor home repair and/or aptitude and willingness to expand this knowledge.

Should be familiar with MS Office suite including excel – previous experience with report generation, data base usage, and proposal/grant writing preferred.
