Discuss with individual patients their plans for life after leaving therapy. Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy. Monitor consumers' use of medications, discussing with consumers during counseling sessions if they are taking their medications and if not the reason they are not. When appropriate will discuss the consumer's use or lack of use with the consumer's medical professional with appropriate signed releases. Supervise other counselors, social service staff, and assistants as directed by the Clinical Site Supervisor. Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services.   Position Requirements NJ or PA LCSW or LSW with at least 1-year providing mental health services to children, adolescents, families, and/or adults; e.g. individual, group, and family counseling. Experience in conducting and writing comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Experience providing mental health evaluations with a DSM-V diagnosis and evidence-based treatment recommendations. Experience working with all types of populations. Experience working with individuals of different races, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. Experience working with clients in crisis. Excellent organizational and writing skills.
