We are currently seeking candidates who are working towards a graduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Pharmaceutical Sciences for an internship during the summer of 2023.  Objectives/Goals of the Position: Apply state-of-the-art mass spectrometry instrumentation to address sophisticated bioanalytical challenges related to drug discovery and development Primary Duties: Optimize sample preparation protocols for proteins and/or metabolites from various sources (cell culture, tissues, and biofluids). Develop a LC-MS method using state-of-the-art high resolution mass spectrometry (DDA and DIA) and run a pilot study. Collaborate with data scientists to develop an analysis pan for the data generated. Present the work at group and project team meetings.    Position Requirements Position Requirements: PhD (preferred) or master students who are working towards a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Pharmaceutical Sciences Hands-on experience working with high resolution mass spectrometry if possible in the field of proteomics. Experience with standard wet laboratory techniques and sample preparation of biological material. Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
