ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for maintaining vendor audit files, including sending recurrent mail-out audits, scheduling recurrent on-site audits, and routing completed audits to the Director of Quality Control for approval. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform internal audits of Omni Air Internationals Maintenance Departments, including Line Stations, in accordance with the OAI CAS System
  • Perform audits of Omni Air International paperwork (i.e. Logbooks, Cabin Logs, DMI Items and Non-Routines) in accordance with the OAI CAS system
  • If authorized, perform audits of external Maintenance Repair Organizations and Service Organizations in accordance with the OAI CAS System
  • If trained and certified, perform inspections of IFQP fuel related vendors in accordance with IFQP requirements
  • Maintain and keep current all Quality audit and inspection records for review at any time

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Possess high attention to detail
  • General administrative skills
  • Typing and computer proficiency skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and analytical skills are required
  • Ability to exhibit high level of confidentiality and reliability
  • Ability to exercise initiative in completion of tasks
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous aviation and/or auditing experience preferred

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

 

  • Stand – 5%

  • Lift – Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Requires arm and hand steadiness and sufficient finger dexterity to use office equipment
  • May be subject to walking, standing, sitting, reaching, balancing, bending, kneeling, handling, climbing, and twisting
  • Requires ability to sit for long periods

 

 

MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail, excellent customer service and organizational skills required
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully with significant detail
  • Ability to make decisions which impact the department’s credibility, and services
