Food and Beverage Shift Lead 

Description

SUMMARY
Act as lead during daily operation of the department for a given shift. Control and distribution of the operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, pot washer, and worker assignments task. Communicates the strategic direction of the department to the team members. Provides day-to-day operational guidance while performing daily task.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for communicating task or projects to team members.
Tracks progress and monitors team members ensuring deadlines are met.
Provides clarification to team members regarding practices and policies of the organization.
Provides on-the-job training and orientation to the department or team processes.
May monitor attendance and ensures attendance policy is followed by team members.
Responsible for all proper cleaning, rack and distribution of all china, silver and glassware for all outlets.
Maintains required standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Make shift report as required by the F&B Manager.
Reviews operating procedures with his/her shift.
Minimizes breakage of circulating equipment.
Assumes/performs additional duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE
1-2 years’ supervisory experience in the food industry.
Having working knowledge of Oklahoma Health Department codes is preferred
