Our Global IP Internship is designed for forward-thinking current 1L and 2L law students passionate about the intersection of law and science. As a Global IP summer intern, you will partner with experienced patent attorneys to develop the skills, knowledge, and connections that will set you up for success as a patent practitioner in the pharmaceutical industry. Youll learn how to craft strategies for the filing, prosecution, maintenance, and defense of patents against third-party challenges. You may also work on business development deals or present on emerging legal and pharma developments to help set and implement global IP strategy. This 10-week paid summer internship will provide you with valuable work experience and the chance to gain great insights into our business.   Position Requirements What we’re looking for: Current 1L or 2L students Strong interest in patent law Adaptable and versatile learner Scientific background (Life Sciences preferred) Strong communication skills Eligibility to work in the U.S. AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
