Share Email Opening Title Quality Control Supervisor  Position Quality Control Supervisor   Location Raining Rose, Inc.   Description SUMMARY Directs and coordinates activities concerned with daily task in the Quality department as it relates to the testing and releasing of quality product and raw materials. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following) Responsible for scheduling and supervising Quality Technicians. Understand and enforce compliance to Code of Federal Regulations (FDA) and other regulatory requirements for products including but not limited to: Certified Organic, Certified Gluten-Free, and other Customer requirements. Authority to release or reject product after testing and, if needed, after review and investigation. Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual issues to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices. Assist in investigations to determine causes of faulty work, then consult and advise Production Supervisors as to corrective measures including Corrective and Preventive Action functions. Approve or reject procedures and specifications impacting the identity, strength, quality, and purity of products and raw materials. Teach and train others on compliance information and safety knowledge to complete tasks. Quality Control Supervisor shall report any product issues relating to Quality and Product Safety to Quality Manager and/or Chief Operations Officer while handling the daily duties as it relates to staffing and testing. Quality or Safety issues as needed shall also be directed to CEO. Recommend process improvements for increased efficiencies. Firm understanding and compliance with companys Good Manufacturing Practices and Safe Practices.
