Share Email Opening Title Senior Accountant  Description The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting all accounting and financial related activities. These include AP/AR, credit card entry, account reconciliations and general ledger accounting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of financial and management reports. The applicant should be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy and work well with other people. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures integrity of general ledger accounting information through recording, verifying and analyzing transactions to actual source documents. Primary custodian for multi-company general ledger accounting and performing of monthly closing activities. The preparation of monthly full set of financial statements that is timely and accurate for review by management. Monthly balance sheet account reconciliation to include supporting documentation, with timely resolution of discrepancies. Develop and maintain Excel models where necessary; analyze, test and validate large data files, produce financial dashboards, accounting, and executive management reports. Review financial information such as trends, metrics, and present analysis in a clear manner.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a 4-year accredited university; 3+ years of relevant accounting work experience, some public accounting experience. CMA, CPA and Macc candidates preferred. Strong Accounting theory background and understanding of GAAP financial statements. Advanced Microsoft Excel required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required. Experienced financial software skills, especially with Great Plains. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power Bi or other analytics and presentation software. Very detail oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as, experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   This position is currently not accepting applications.
