Summary: Ensure all available shipments are properly packaged and shipped per Company, Customer, and Government Regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Create Packing Lists and Shipping Labels for shipments. Enter shipment data into the shipping company websites, schedule shipments, and affix appropriate labels to the shipment. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Notify Manager if there are issues with shipments going out properly. Follow International and Hazardous Material Regulations, Maintain Finished Goods inventory location integrity. Order packaging supplies as needed. Follow ISO procedures and company safety regulations. Responsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements. Other duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed. Working knowledge of ISO/9001/14000/13485 and AS9100 processes.   Position Requirements Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Required: Ability to lift 40-50 pounds, as many packages are large. Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details. Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing. ERP and Spreadsheet experience. Exceptional Attention to Detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Preferred: One year of shipping experience and/or High School Diploma or GED preferred. IATA Certification a plus. Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, Bill of Lading, International shipping, Understanding HTS code, Schedule B code, AES filing, and Commercial invoicing preferred. Online Truck scheduling.
