Share Email Opening Title HVAC Specialist (Plant Operations), FT, 1st  Location Joint Township District Memorial Hospital   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Working Shift 1st   Hours Per Week 40   Description Works under the supervision of the Plant Operations Coordinator or designee. The HVAC Specialist is responsible for coordinating and performing preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and service on all heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to include; air handlers, condenser equipment, refrigerators, freezers, and exhaust systems through the Computerized Maintenance System. The HVAC Specialist will assist the Plant Operations Coordinator in establishing the overall air conditioning/refrigeration program, and writing the policies and procedures to meet manufacturer recommendations and governing and regulatory agencies. Shall perform other tasks as required to meet hospital's requirements, goals and objectives.   Position Requirements 1.     Education: High school diploma, and Air Conditioning Refrigeration Certified Training 2.     Licensure: Certified C.F.C. Technician preferred but not required. 3.     Experience: Air conditioning/refrigeration work, electrical and plumbing and structural work and installation 4.     Skills: Good organizational and time management skills preferred 5.     Physical Effort: Requires full range of body motion, manual finger dexterity, eye and hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods of time, occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to and in excess of 100 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges.
