Maintain interdisciplinary treatment by consulting and collaborating with primary care physicians, mental health therapists and other health care providers. Review and approve individualized service plans and assessments The ability to interact compassionately and independently with a diverse population. Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed Very comfortable seeing ADHD patients, prescribing controlled substances when appropriate. Maintain electronic medical records by documenting symptoms, medications, and treatment events.  Electronically prescribe medications Update job knowledge by participating in continuing medical educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Data tracking: Assignment of appropriate assessment scales, and review with patient during appointments Communicate directly with patients regarding urgent needs (i.e. medication side effects, acute symptoms) Must have an appetite for a dynamic start-up culture and believe in equality in mental health care. Qualifications: Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification preferred Masters in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required Experience working in private practice or a demonstrated competence in working in a team format Experience working with children and adults, certification in those areas preferred Compensation and Benefits: Flexibility to develop your schedule (10-40 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling the days) The ability to move from part-time to full-time The ability to grow your practice NHSC site with potential student loan assistance Assistance with credentialing Part-time, contract, full-time, employee, options 50 minute new-patient evaluations, 20 minute follow-ups EMR and electronic prescribing (a system you will help us pick out if the current one is not suitable) Full credentialing support Administrative support Opportunity for long-term career stability, leadership and creativity as practice expands.
