Independent Contractor Program Specialist 



This position's primary responsibility is to provide support as a liaison between the Independent Contractor and the Company when necessary. The position will also perform administrative duties directly related to the Independent Contractor Program.


  • The employee's primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with regards to maintaining the business relationships with Independent Contractors in support of the Capacity Solutions Manager.
  • Perform administrative functions to ensure seamless communication, support and compliance within the Independent Contractor Program
  • Generate and maintain reports to track the Independent Contractor Program's performance, such as safety, customer service, revenue production, etc.
  • Monitor the services of Independent Contractors, to include compliance, expected customer performance standards set by the Company and vendors, and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure contracted commercial drivers adhere to FMCSA and DOT regulations and proactively address any Safety related procedures according to the Independent Contractor Operating Agreement (ICOA).
  • Communicate available load options timely and with relevant details for the purpose of maximizing capacity and revenue earnings growth for the Company and Independent Contractor.
Position Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience
  • Ability to learn how to operate the TMW System and other internal programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
