Share Title Driver Orientation Specialist  Description PURPOSE. This position is responsible for ensuring the proper completion of documents, files and computer system entries required during orientation to support the driver hiring processes. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES. Complete tasks necessary to prepare for the incoming classes such as: email/fax the class list to the motel and taxi providers, send notifications to internal departments and prepare the forms and documents that will be needed. Verifies completion of all onboarding forms including I-9, DOT Physical, DOT Drug Test and various other HR and DOT related forms. Review and complete WOTC process with each Driver. Review pay with each driver and obtains driver acknowledgement signatures. Facilitates obtaining updated driver signature on application and releases in TenStreet. Update multiple dates, notes, statuses, etc. in TenStreet, Ascentis, Quickbase and USAT Applications. Take new hire pictures for ID badges, name images, upload to HR. Complete Comdata Card order process per driver. Complete orders for transportation and lodging with motels, greyhound, taxi, Lyft, etc. Assist with monitoring rental car returns. Send notification emails to the Orientation Notification Group with status updates. Keep and update quarterly the Driver Orientation Specialist Reference Manual. Provide professional administrative support as needed to help achieve departmental goals.   Position Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements. High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills. Transportation experience Basic proficiency with Word and Excel Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience. Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results. Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety. Working conditions This position will be required to work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, and, with or without reasonable accommodation is required to: Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Frequently operate a computer for extended periods of time and regularly operate other office productivity machines. Occasionally ascend/descend stairs and move up to 20 pounds of office objects. Frequently communicate with peers, supervisors, third parties, and other employees to exchange accurate information and answer questions. Occasionally attend meetings in buildings outside corporate office and at off-site locations with various internal conditions, and requiring travel in various external conditions.
