Share Email Opening Title eDiscovery Case Manager -Functional Specialist  Category Other   Description The Functional Specialist serves as case managers for assigned litigation, investigation, FOIA, and Congressional inquiry cases and provides much of the support for the litigation support applications used by DLA that meet specific needs of the cases supported. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Applies knowledge of computer system principles, automated data processing functions, and software languages to develop solutions to user requirements while converting and loading data files produced in discovery into appropriate computer applications. Administers the eDiscovery application servers used to support instances of litigation. Customize programs and applications to manage, retrieve, and manipulate data to meet the specific needs of the cases supported and analyzes complex application problems involving all phases of system analysis to provide resolution. Understands application behavior in on-premises data centers and virtual environments to fully utilize the benefit of eDiscovery technologies and provides expert advice on best practices involving ESI. The Functional Specialist with work under the direction of TOPM. Assist with proposal development, if necessary. Perform other duties, as assigned.   Position Requirements Experience: Five (5) years relevant experience in e-Discovery required. Must have minimum one (1) year experience with the Exterro e-discovery platform to review and analyze data around litigation, investigations, government requests, etc. Knowledge of governance and storage of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) that is collected or copied from native locations in compliance with federal laws including E-Government Act and Privacy Act. Expertise in governing information pursuant to industry standards. Broad experience in the preservation of metadata. Education: BS or BA degree preferred or four (4) additional years of related experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification Category IAM Level I. Project Management certification is desired but not required. Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS) highly desired. Other Required Skills & Abilities: Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement.
