Description

ProMedica Senior Care, formerly HCR ManorCare provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.

The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) oversees multiple skilled nursing facilities. The position is responsible for financial, quality care, customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance to company policies and programs. Reports directly to the Assistant Vice President.

  • Ensures company standard as a high quality provider through implementation of quality systems, onsite inspections for quality care and exceptional customer service
  • Assists Nursing Home Administrators in establishing controls to manage and monitor operating and capital budgets. Works closely to solve facility financial and operating issues, including PPDs, and labor costs
  • Analyzes monthly financial data and provides input to the GM or Assistant GM
  • Works to reduce injury and litigation costs by ensuring that potential safety/health hazards are eliminated or controlled through regular reviews of work activities, materials, and facilities.
  • Ensures that employees are adequately oriented and trained to perform their duties. Assists and encourages employees in developing their skills and self-confidence

Educational Requirements Bachelors required - Masters preferred. LNHA License required.  
Position Requirements

Must have 5 - 7 years in multi-facility managment in a subacute, rehabilitative care environment. Skilled and managed care experience required.
