We have an immediate opening for an energetic fast-learner to join our team as Technical Support Manager. Smartrise Engineering is a premier US manufacturer of elevator controllers. We are growing exponentially and are looking for highly-motivated professionals to join our team.

JOB DUTIES: The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Team management, development, support. Staffing, workflow management and performance review.
  • Communicates effectively with customers regarding escalated issues coming out of the team.
  • Sets proper expectations and holds the team accountable.
  • Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using various data visualization tools including, but not limited to, MS Excel, and Epicor Performance Analytics
  • Identify, define, and produce accurate and meaningful metrics in an effort to deliver high quality, actionable, efficient, and interactive reporting to drive business decisions
  • Produce executive, operational, and performance reporting
  • Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources
  • With general supervision, work in a collaborative and constructive manner with internal departments to complete tasks with time sensitive deadlines
  • Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation
  • Provide and seek training and mentoring from peers for cross-functional growth, learning and career development
Position Requirements


  • Ability to apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in day-to-day problems and solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data
  • Must be able use appropriate analysis, judgment, logic, and communication methods when solving problems and making decisions
  • Detail oriented, with a structured approach to planning and organization
  • Capable of working both independently and as a contributing team member, to meet team and department goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses the skill to display the utmost level of professionalism, tact, and discretion
  • Ability to relate well with others, build relationships and constructively interact with a variety of people and situations
  • Must effectively present concepts and ideas
  • Must take initiative to explore best practices, keep up-to-date with technology changes & training related to reporting and analytics
  • Ability to make decisions with guidance from management
  • At all times, maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of information


  • Skilled in data analytics/data presentation
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Deep understanding of database technology and design concepts
  • Intermediate computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL, and Epicor
  • Knowledge of general business practices and concepts, as it relates to Data analysis
