Smartrise Engineering is a premier US manufacturer of elevator controllers. We are growing exponentially and are looking for highly-motivated professionals to join our team. JOB DUTIES: The duties of the position include, but are not limited to: Team management, development, support. Staffing, workflow management and performance review. Communicates effectively with customers regarding escalated issues coming out of the team. Sets proper expectations and holds the team accountable. Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using various data visualization tools including, but not limited to, MS Excel, and Epicor Performance Analytics Identify, define, and produce accurate and meaningful metrics in an effort to deliver high quality, actionable, efficient, and interactive reporting to drive business decisions Produce executive, operational, and performance reporting Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources With general supervision, work in a collaborative and constructive manner with internal departments to complete tasks with time sensitive deadlines Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation Provide and seek training and mentoring from peers for cross-functional growth, learning and career development   Position Requirements SKILLS AND EDUCATION: Ability to apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in day-to-day problems and solutions Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions based on data Must be able use appropriate analysis, judgment, logic, and communication methods when solving problems and making decisions Detail oriented, with a structured approach to planning and organization Capable of working both independently and as a contributing team member, to meet team and department goals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possesses the skill to display the utmost level of professionalism, tact, and discretion Ability to relate well with others, build relationships and constructively interact with a variety of people and situations Must effectively present concepts and ideas Must take initiative to explore best practices, keep up-to-date with technology changes & training related to reporting and analytics Ability to make decisions with guidance from management At all times, maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of information ABILITIES: Skilled in data analytics/data presentation Minimum of 3 years of management experience. Deep understanding of database technology and design concepts Intermediate computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SQL, and Epicor Knowledge of general business practices and concepts, as it relates to Data analysis This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents; 401(k) with employer matching; fully-paid life insurance; and paid time off.
