With the belief that all people have the capacity to grow and change, we provide our services to people of all ages, cultures, races, religious preferences, genders, and sexual orientations in order to enhance wellness and recovery, thereby improving families, workplaces, and communities.   Position Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Community Mental Health Center   Description Southeast Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to meet patients with SMI and co-occurring disorders in the community to perform psychiatric assessments, plan, and treat mental health needs. Services will be provided both in the community and in the office. This person is also responsible for making referrals for medical services and conducting follow-up with patients. Consultation with the Medical Director, Clinical Directors and other Southeast staff members is also an important function of this position. The Psych NP works as a member of a SAMHSA grant team that focuses on people whose mental health and co-occurring issues were negatively impacted by COVID. Restoration of positive mental health through treatment, recovery and dealing with losses caused by COVID are core elements of this work effort.   Position Requirements Qualified applicant must possess an Ohio CNP license; prior experience with a similar population strongly preferred; a willingness to work in the community and working collaboratively with other treatment staff is required.   Location Southeast, Inc.
