Manger, Representation, Inclusion, and Equity 

Description

The Manager of Representation, Inclusion, and Equity will support in the design and implementation of events and initiatives designed to ensure ongoing prioritization of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) at the Academy. You will work within the Office of Impact and Inclusion and will report into the EVP, Impact and Inclusion. You are a strong, collaborative project manager with the ability to track and maintain oversight of multiple projects or initiatives at the same time. You understand, support and articulate the business and social benefits of DEIA. You are skilled at building and maintaining relationships across departments and teams. You are research and data-oriented with the skills and ability to interpret large datasets and identify key trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and strategic leadership to Academy Employee Resource Groups, partner with ERG leadership in planning and implementation of events and programs
  • Develop and implement internal training and development plan to support a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Manage diversity data tracking projects including analysis of trends across key focus areas including membership and supplier diversity
  • Manage Academys supplier diversity program; following up with Academy Staff and vendors to ensure accurate and timely completion of required data and goal setting
  • Partner with Human Resources to maintain diversity recruitment efforts
  • Maintain annual Cultural Calendar; draft internal communications to recognize key events and moments of significance and facilitate recognition across departments
  • Lead and coordinate commitment to inclusive, accessible events and programs including the Oscars and other key events
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years project management experience; direct experience in DEI related projects or work is advantageous
  • Exceptional program/project management skills with a proven track record of successful program development, launch and management
  • Excellent capabilities in project planning software, spreadsheet software, and presentation software
  • Detail oriented, with a natural orientation for collaboration, efficiency, priority setting and achievement

 

  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to manage across multiple stakeholders and at various levels
  • Data-oriented and analytical with comfort for conducting and managing research projects
  • Proficiency in data collection and analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and deliver results in a complex, cross-functional organization.
  • Must be extremely flexible, proactive, and highly organized with the ability to shift priorities, multi-task, and handle heavy workflow processing.

 

If hired, we require all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed as determined on a case by case basis.

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
