We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintains regular, punctual attendance.
  2. Works hours and shifts as scheduled.
  3. Is responsible for setting up dining room and clearing dining room, following company procedure.
  4. Observes and practices proper techniques of body mechanics in lifting and other physical labor.
  5. Washes and sanitizes dishes, eating utensils, pots and pans.
  6. Maintains work area and equipment.
  7. Is responsible for maintaining dining room in clean and attractive condition.
  8. Reaches, handles, and lifts food supplies.
  9. Organizes stock and deliveries as assigned.
  10. Promotes a positive work environment that emphasizes team work.
  11. Completes tasks in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures.
  12. Attends all in services scheduled by Executive Director or supervisor.
  13. Is willing to work shifts, days, or positions other than Dietary Aide.
  14. Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

The candidate for Dietary Aide must possess exemplary work ethics and the ability to assist and interact with seniors in a caring, kind, and respectful manner. Must be able to speak English to the degree that allows for understanding and being understood by residents. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull minimum of 40 pounds. Must be able to move about the facility quickly and be able to physically assist residents and/or staff in event of an emergency.
