Our Opportunity

DMW is a growing full-service direct response advertising agency seeking an Email Marketing Manager to help drive success for our current clients and support new business efforts!

As Email Marketing Manager, you will work cross-functionally throughout the organization to help lead strategy and execution of email marketing programs for agency clients. Working alongside the VP, Integrated Marketing, you will build out email marketing strategies and execute campaigns that run in conjunction with other marketing and media related efforts.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day email marketing efforts across a wide array of email service providers (ESPs), customer relationship management (CRM) and/or marketing automation technologies
  • Develop innovative email and/or CRM strategies based on our clients key marketing objectives (acquisition, engagement, retention and win back)
  • Ensure proper attribution for all email campaigns via analytics and management tools including Google Analytics, phone call tracking, third party ESP/CRM analytics platforms, etc.
  • Prepare and present campaign reports from email/CRM analytics tools and present to clients
  • Develop A/B testing and email segmentation strategies to optimize all campaigns for agency clients
  • Collaborate with internal departments including account services, creative services, and web development to complete projects including helping to develop creative briefs, collaborating on creative production, distribution and building segmentation plans and/or lead scoring as needed
  • Update teams on best practices in email marketing, CRM and marketing automation, new industry developments, and general industry education
  • Contribute and participate in business develop activities such as RFPs, capabilities decks, and pitches to grow digital billings
  • Limited travel required as needed
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required


Position Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; marketing or other job-related concentration preferred.
  • 3+ years email marketing experience, agency experience strongly desired
  • Insurance, healthcare, financial services or other related industry vertical experience desired.
  • Industry certifications in email marketing, CRM and analytics a plus
  • Experience with:
    • Leading ESPs (Campaign Monitor, ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, etc.)
    • Leading CRM platforms (SalesForce, HubSpot, SugarCRM, etc.)
    • Marketing automation technologies (SFMC+Pardot/ExactTarget, Adobe/Marketo, Oracle/Eloqua, HubSpot, etc.)
    • Segmentation and lead scoring efforts via marketing automation platforms preferred
    • Deliverability testing (Litmus) and 508 compliance
    • SMS/MMS campaigns a plus
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, CASL, etc.)
    • HTML and CSS development to make minor updates to creative if needed
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills – ability to pull analytic data from ESPs, CRMs and Google Analytics
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
