Event Server 

Location Bold Catering & Design - Catering  

Basic requirements for the Server position include following direction from Event Manager to perform duties as assigned and requested in accordance with standards in order to provide guests with successful event implementation and execution. Qualified event servers will understand the concept of practicing and maintaining a warm, friendly, fun and professional attitude as well as the importance of interacting positively with guests at all times.

Duties include:

  • setting up different types of events, making adjustments as needed, as stated on Event Orders
    • breakfast, lunch, dinner, light/heavy hors d' oeuvres, plated
  • performing various styles of service
    • tray pass, buffet, HHD, LHD, flow, synchronized, tray
  • breaking down all areas worked
  • completing sidework and other requests, as required
  • attending meetings
    • line up, departmental, Human Resources, other
