Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Assistant General Manager  Description We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager for our property. Hospitality and management experience required. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain standards of quality guest service. Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the guest services department paper. Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the guest service department that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel. Facilitate department meetings to ensure 100% communication throughout all hotel departments Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget. Increase level of guest satisfaction that exceeds brand requirements and company average by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. Directly responsible for entire hotel operations including overall guest satisfaction, breakfast, front desk , housekeeping and engineering. Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted payroll standards in hotel operations departments listed above. Establish and maintain cost control systems for monthly ordering in relation to the checkbook. Review the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling by associates. Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security. Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. Requirements: Minimum lifting and pulling of 20 pounds. Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. Must have prior senior-level management experience Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills. High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred. CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
