We are currently seeking individuals excited to explore the endless opportunities within our Edgewood Family.   Description Position Summary: As an Ice Rink Ambassador at Edgewood Tahoe you greet arriving guests, address them by name whenever possible, welcome them in a friendly manner. You will monitor conditions on the ice and see that guests are safe and following safety rules. You will also assist in maintaining overall guest flow of the check in process with management to ensure details are handled properly and guest receive service that goes above and beyond. Reimagine luxury hospitality with us. Essential Functions: Basic ice-skating skills. Assist with guest check-in process when needed. Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival. Assist guests with fitting and skating equipment rentals. Monitor unsafe or potentially hazardous ice conditions. Monitor skaters and ensure proper ice safety procedures are followed Complete transactions on point of sale for admissions and rentals. Assist in the distribution and receiving of rental skates. Enforce established safety rules, policies, and protocols. Assist operations in ice maintenance to include shoveling. Keep work area clean and well maintained. During shift, rotate to shoe fitting area to provide skate rentals to guests if needed. Assist in maintaining skate inventory. Assist in sanitization of skate rental, cleaning of surrounding areas and other basic cleaning as required. Serve food and drinks including alcohol to guests in surrounding areas. Take food and drink orders. Practice established guest interaction standards Must come to work dressed and/or prepared for winter weather conditions. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.   Position Requirements Qualifications / Special Skills: Upbeat, outgoing, and professional personality with strong communication skills. Basic computer skills.  POS skills are a plus Ability to multitask and stay organized, take direction and work independently. Must be a team player. Must be 21 or older Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills with the team, guests and other departments as needed. Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights. All Edgewood Team Members are Expected to: Embrace and promote all facets of our vision, mission, and values.
