The Creative Professional will have a deep knowledge of branding, graphic design, marketing and video techniques. Under the direction of the Creative Services Manager, the Brand & Creative Professional will maintain and execute Blues brand promise, message and standards across all touch-points internally and publicly creating global awareness both traditionally and digitally. They will develop, design and produce creative and branded collateral for print and digital placement that will help drive growth and be a catalyst to position the credit union as a leader in our marketplace. They will align with and help Creative Services Manager position Blue as being the best credit union. This position also focuses on: Under the direction of the Creative Services Manager and applying previously defined brand structures, maintains and executes Blues brand promise, message and standards across all touch-points internally and publicly increasing global awareness. Creative designer in producing branded collateral for branches, events, exhibitions, swag, sposorships, campaigns, video, digital media and other collateral as assigned. Completes projects by coordinating with outside vendors, internal departments, etc. Ensures the quality of collateral before final production. Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with cross-functional team. Recommend design techniques to improve look and feel of graphics, video and digital collateral to present a WOW factor in the marketplace. Plans concept by studying information and materials. Stay updated on latest industry trends on brand awareness, graphic design and development techniques by reviewing professional publications and conducting research. Works with Creative Service Manager on creative ideas to help Blue to the next level. Full Time Position Compensation Range: $25.37 - $38.06 Check out this short video for a glimpse at the culture we strive for here at Blue:Working at Blue!   Position Requirements EXPERIENCE: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Skills in advanced software programs including: • Adobe Suite • Microsoft Offce Suite • Thorough understanding of color theory, typography, layout, branding, and iconography. • Knowledge of video, graphic design techniques, marketing and advertising as well as software to enhance this knowledge. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: A college degree or exceed eight years of experience. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
