EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE: The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for providing club members and other guests with friendly, prompt, and efficient service on the golf course and other locations within the community. This position plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the satisfaction of all who come in contact with the Food & Beverage department. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Confirm beverage cart is fully operational prior to beginning rounds on the course Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day Prepare accurate checks for guests and process payments Maintain and exhibit knowledge of proper golf course etiquette Respond to customer questions regarding general facility information Review schedules for changes, calendar of events, and club activities on a daily basis Abide by and enforce strict health and safety standards, including those established by the state Other duties and special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Current Food Handler Card (Riverside County) Current Responsible Alcohol Awareness Safety Certificate (T.I.P.S., L.E.A.D.) High School Diploma (or equivalent) Familiarity with country club/hotel/high-end operations Conflict resolution skills Excellent written and verbal communication Must be a team player who is committed to delivering high-level customer service Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests at all times Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc. Use standard bar equipment and supplies, including: appliances, tools, and food/beverages Be stationary or in motion for periods of time (often in motion) Relocate up to (25) pounds SUPERVISES OTHERS?
