Description

Peabody Properties seeks a Part-Time Accounting Administrative Assistant working 20-24 hours a week to join its property management team at our apartment community in Leominster, MA.

The Administrative Assistant will manage the flow of vendor invoices, from receipt, coding for accounting purposes, tracking reimbursement from funding sources and finally, payment.

The ideal candidate is experienced in accounts payable and able to take ownership of this process. It requires interfacing with the on-site maintenance manager, property manager and owner representatives (including the architect overseeing the project) to assure that invoices are properly recorded, approved, coded, and queued for payment. Additional responsibilities include identifying discrepancies with vendors and bringing to management attention.

 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum two years’ prior accounts payable experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint) required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail
