This effort will assist in creating a network of likeminded allies and partners with increased threat reduction capabilities that contribute and advance the interests and security of the United States of America. It will assist in building strategic relationships with key international partners that enhance threat reduction on a global scale. It will also support the resilience of the global nonproliferation framework by building partner capacities to enforce the tenants of that framework.

Description:

The Project Manager III will be responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgment.
  • Responsible for daily operations of the full contractor team and specific oversight of the contractor Operations Team.
  • Serves as direct project supervisor to the contractor Operations Team responsible for tasker management, financial management, Freedom of Information Act requests, technical editing, and administrative assistance.
  • Assist CTR leadership in defining CTR requirements, establishing long-range plans, defining project and program success factors, and implementing assessment methodologies for achieving consistent, systematic processes.
  • Make recommendations to the CTR leadership and facilitate the identification of trends and the desired future state for the CTR Program.
  • Maintain broad situational and functional area awareness and client engagement, ensuring synergy of effort within the Operations Team and with other teams across CTR.
  • Sets Operations Team prioritization in alignment with CTR objectives, ensuring quality control and timeliness of work products generated by assigned staff.
  • Ensure assigned staff are trained and proficient in tasks/activities necessary for success.
  • Champions best practices, innovation, and process improvement within the Operations Team.
  • Identifies and secures resources necessary for Operations Team success.
  • Identifies and removes unnecessary inefficiencies and impediments to team success.
  • Ensures mentorship and development opportunities are available for assigned staff.
  • Ensures workload is balanced across assigned staff.
  • Responsible for drafting and editing key program documentation in response to taskers, requests for information, etc.
  • Oversees team providing financial management support in annual, quarterly, and daily financial planning.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
