The On-Premise Sales Manager’s primary goal is to grow On-Premise volume and gross profit through maintaining and enriching customer relationships for Fountain, Cold Bottle and Full-Service accounts within an assigned territory. This person will be responsible for: existing account retention and development, prospecting and qualifying new and competitive accounts, customer contractual negotiations and other specific duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • This position is considered safety sensitive due to the required operation of motor vehicles. Safe motor vehicle operation requires a constant state of alertness and awareness of the surroundings at all times

  • Regularly scheduled account calls with existing account ownership and management. Review business results and make recommendations for new products and packages, as well as equipment for incremental volume and gross profit growth.

  • Create and present customer presentations for existing customer business reviews, contractual negotiations and Code 10 prospects.

  • Maximizes profitable new account development by selling in proper packages/brands, assigning proper pricing/commissions and providing necessary support for product sales in new accounts

  • Ensures new accounts meet gross margin standards and take the appropriate actions when an account falls below the required level

  • Plans territory management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure effective time management and customer follow-up

  • Monitor product freshness, inventory levels, equipment functionality and merchandising standards

  • Make recommendations regarding delivery scheduling and frequency.

  • Develops relationships with and educate internal customers on the goals and objectives of On Premise by providing specific communication on strategies, opportunities and business results

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent is preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License for your state of residency and adhere to driver qualification program
  • Proven sales record with experience in selling promotions and additional space within accounts
  • Proven professional communication and interpersonal problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to serve multiple customer accounts concurrently with excellence
  • Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Must be willing and able to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds, push, pull, stand, squat, bend and reach
  • Must maintain a neat uniform and professional appearance
