We are seeking an energetic Permit Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate pays exceptional attention to details, possesses the ability to work with deadlines, and has excellent customer service skills. What you will do: Coordinate all documents required for applying, submitting, obtaining, and closing permits for all company projects Coordinate with departments and external contacts to ensure all deadlines are completed on time Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with municipality departments and staff members Serve as the designated contact for permitting questions and/or other issues Manage, monitor, and follow up on pending permits and engineering reports Thoroughly communicate and document permit statuses in order to keep the installation of projects consistent Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and maintain the company's excellent reputation Be proactive to ensure projects move smoothly and are completed as scheduled Travel to various locations to obtain signatures, collect, drop off, and post permits as needed Identify common issues and develop suitable solutions and processes Address incoming inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner Other duties as assigned   Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of permitting experience Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure all deadlines are achieved   Salary $18.00 - $20.00   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt   Benefits Excellent benefits package, use of company vehicle & fuel card, on-site fitness center, casual dress, fun and engaging work environment, and more.   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
