Grant Development Assistant

Looking for a full-time Grants Development Assistant.

Job Description:
You will assist with all components of the grant seeking and grant management process.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with acquiring private and public funding for new service offerings, including obtaining County, State, and federal contracts
  • Complete assigned components of the grant application process, including research, communicating with internal and external partners, proposal writing, assembling required attachments, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements
  • Assist with grant management activities as needed for identified grant programs, including assembling internal workgroups, analyzing data and industry trends, conceptualizing programs based on the most current research and preparing reports
  • Research and interpret grant management requirements, opportunities, and strategies; working with project teams to achieve mutual goals; participate in all meetings to ensure grant requirements are communicated and met for identified grants
  • Ensure compliance with regulations for grants throughout the grant lifecycle
  • Maintain processes for post-award grants management
  • Assist in professionally promoting the agency's Mission and Values both internally as well as in the community
  • Assist with preparing reports from data collected and ensures reports or statistics are accurately prepared, and sent to the appropriate entity in a timely manner
  • Perform other administrative support: schedules meetings, organizes files, produces and distributes correspondence, assists in preparation of reports, and manages all quarterly, annual, biannual, and special submissions on an ongoing basis

 

What We Need to See:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Familiarity with social service and behavioral health practices
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by Agency's automobile insurance
