Share Email Opening Title FT Independent Living Specialist  Description Join our team as an Independent Living Specialist with the Independent Living Program!   Young adults, ages 18-21, who have aged of foster care, are eligible for Independent Living Services. As an Independent Living Specialist, you will focus on resource and skill development to help young adults live successfully in the community by building an Individualized Life Skills Plan.   This position will cover the following 7 counties: Trempealeau, La Crosse, Jackson, Monroe, Juneau, Vernon and Crawford While this position reports to the supervisor in our La Crosse office, this is a semi-remote position in that it provides in person services to clients in the above counties.   Please apply if you live in one the counties listed above, as the Independent Living Specialist will be driving throughout the 7 county range listed above to provide in person services to clients.   What are the primary responsibilities of this Case Manager position? Case Management of youth within the following counties: Trempealeau, La Crosse, Jackson, Monroe, Juneau, Vernon and Crawford Conducting assessments Managing groups Providing one-on-one services with the youth, including assistance with: College applications Job searches Budget management Obtaining affordable housing Meal planning Attending team meetings.
