POSITION: Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician- Full Time Position
LOCATION: Work is located at San Diego Naval Shipyard. Must be located within reasonable driving distance to San Diego Naval Shipyard. Travel to other Naval Shipyards expected. EHS has in house support staff for planning travel.

Description Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician:
Supporting the US Navy with shipboard electrical installations and troubleshooting while maintaining reports of work done and action items found. This position requires an active security clearance.
Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician Specific duties include:
Provide electrical installation support for Interior Communications (IC) and network systems on board US Navy ships.
Provide troubleshooting of IC and network systems on board US Navy ships.
Provide details reporting of work completed and issues found during work.
Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma (related military experience can qualify as education)
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Shipboard Electrical Engineering Technician Required Experience:
One (1) year of experience on board US Navy ships working as an electrical technician and installer.
Knowledge of US Navy maintenance and repair reporting procedures and in-process engineering change proposals (ECPs) or temporary alterations (TEMPALTs)
