Sewing Machine Operator

About the Organization White's Boots was born to serve the men who built the West. Beginning in the 1850's in the Shenandoah Valley, John White set himself a remarkable task: find the explorers and the visionaries, the tough as nails and the never quitters, and build them a boot as tough as they were.

John's search for such men led him and his son Otto to the logging camps and mining towns of the Pacific Northwest, where the days were long and the conditions could chew up a boot in weeks flat. There, the Whites set to work producing something unique: a boot so rugged you couldn't wear it out, and so comfortable you'd want to sleep in it. Before long, few tradesmen bought a boot without visiting Otto White, and once they added their names to his book, they never went anywhere else.

Since Otto's passing in 1972, the White's family has been loyal to his vision - it was never about the boot for Otto: it was about the foot, and the man on top of it. Every pioneer needs a strong foundation, sure footing no matter the road. Our honor and pleasure is to provide it.

The White's Legacy is more than a boot: it is the heavy tread of the determined men we have served, and will continue to serve wherever we find them.
