Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Personal Trainer- Safari Island Community Center  Description Trainers earn a 60/40 split on all sessions conducted. Job Purpose Trains clients and members in a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that promotes member wellness. Duties and Responsibilities Ability to sell the value and importance of personal training sessions to our new and existing members Ability to build clientele by administering fitness assessments and safely conducting personal training sessions Ensure accurate administration of client programs, measurement tracking, and workout programs Become proficient in utilizing the club personal training system Actively develop training prospects through club referrals, interaction with existing members and community outreach, partnerships, corporate visits, and special events Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately Maintain a clean and safe facility Communicate professionally verbally and in writing Promptly respond to emails and phone calls Ensure and promote excellent customer service Immediate and complete reporting of all liability issues Any other duties as assigned   Position Requirements Qualifications AED/CPR and First Aid certifications required Current Personal Training certification required (preferred organizations are ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA) At least one year of Personal Training experience preferred   Working Conditions   Work is completed at a recreational facility, on and around personal fitness equipment. Work may need to be indoors and outdoors.   Physical Requirements   May require long periods of standing or sitting and may require a lot of walking.
