UMS picks up corporate mail, co-mingles, and sorts mail by address to achieve discounts offered by the USPS.   EOE Statement United Mailing provides equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment, without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or the presence of handicaps or disabilities, or any other basis protected by state or federal law.   Description Job Duties and Requirements: - Ability to interpret our company job tickets so that work is entered into the inkjet machine software correctly - Keep up with the scheduled amount of work on our job queue - Set up jobs to run in the system as well as be able to ensure proper adherence of the product to Postal regulations as it runs through the inkjet - Perform minor maintenance on the machinery (preventative) as well as make minor adjustments when product is running through equipment to allow for maximum throughput and quality of output - Load printed material onto feeding mechanisms and remove the finished product from machine conveyor - Stage finished product into Postal containers and affix proper destination label or tray tag - Wrap containers or bundles using a tying (banding) machine - Maintain a safe and clean department - Various other duties as assigned by staff and help out in other departments as needed   Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job Type: Full-time or Part Time Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour Benefits: Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Paid Lunch Break, No Weekend Work or Major Holidays, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance available, Profit Sharing, Life Insurance    Position Requirements Mechanical ability and attention to detail PC computer skills (mainly Excel) Reliable, consistent work history Ability to work on your feet for the majority of your shift Basic math skills Lift and carry the product of 10# to 50# in boxes or other containers Prior inkjet address machine operation is desired; however, we will train the proper candidate that possesses the skill set necessary to fill this position Ability to remove mail from processing equipment place in containers and packing containers as necessary; including twisting and turning of the upper body Ability to multitask Ability to twist, bend, turn body    Category Production   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time and/or Part-Time   Shift Days   Hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm   Rate of pay Starting Wage is $14.00-$16.00 per hour   Other Information If you are selected to interview, then we will email you about scheduling an interview.
